1.       Basalt yarn

 

Description: made from continuous twisted and combined basalt filaments.

Application fields: for weaving various threads and fabrics.

 

 

 

2.    Basalt Filament Roving

Description: The bundled basalt yarns without twisting;

Application fields:

l  Winding for tanks, pipes, and gas cylinder;

l  Weaving fabrics;

l  Preparing and fixing construction sections;

 

                                        

 

3.    Basalt chopped strands

 

Description: A special length filaments chopped from basalt continued fiber.

Application fields:

l  For reinforcing plastics fields;

l  For cements, asphaltic concrete, constructions, etc;

 4. Basalt geo-grid

 

Description: made from basalt roving and its surface are coated with Acrylic acid.

Application fields: mainly used for reinforcing asphalt pavement.

Description: made from basalt roving;

6. Basalt fabrics

 

Description: made from basalt twist yarn.

Characteristics:  weaved by basalt yarn, whose filament diameter is 5.5μm - 13μm and among them there are plain cloths, twills and satin weave cloths, etc., its coat after-treatment makes it has high-temperature resistant up to 980 ℃, block-fire, no smoke, high insulations and strength etc.

Application fields:

l  For electric insulation;

l  For chemical industry;

8. Basalt composite bar

Description: A new kind composite bar, whose basalt fiber is used as reinforcing material and combined with sizes as matrix, manufactured by extrusion moldings process.

Characteristics: Its weight is only 1/4 to that of steel but its tensile strength is doubled than that of the steel. Nonconductive to electricity and heat, elasticity modulus stable, nonmagnetic, it has high acid proof and alkali resistant, can be formed in various forms. Using it can prolong the life of buildings.

Application fields:

l  The constructions and fixing of highways and bridges;
